Pan seared tilapia file with mashed potatoes, tossed seasonal vegetables and creamed spinach



200 grams Tilapia fillet
1 bunch spinach
2 medium potatoes
Chopped onions
Soy sauce
Cooking cream
2 lemons
Salt and pepper
Dill (herb)
4 pieces Cherry tomatoes
Nutmeg (pinch)
Asserted peppers(garnish)


1.In a bowl, make a simple fish marinade by adding soy sauce, chopped garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper and leave it for an hour for the marinade to infuse.
2.Boil the potatoes then mash them up, saute some chopped onions and garlic then add cooking cream then salt and pepper.
3. Sauté chopped onions and garlic in butter, add the shredded spinach then the cooking cream and finally salt and pepper.
4. Heat up a pan and add little oil the pan fry the tilapia fillet on medium heat till they brown and cook.
5.For the presentation, put the mashed potato first, vegetables on the side then build a pill as you alternate the fish fillet with spinach in between and finally the dices of sweet peppers on top and fresh dill for the garnish. Put a lemon wedge on the side!
